Hi Ryan, unfortunately the universities prepare sales people who are more reactive than proactive, the schools are not ready for the current and future tech space. The teachers ( I totally respect them) but they don’t necessary have real life sales skills, they teach from the books and not from the practical experience. Which at the end of the day it is a problem. I see as a big trend with companies I work and consult with to hire trainers, coaches and consultants which can help the staff to gather entrepreneurial competences. Sales is a skill which is simply learnable. I think that the universities have to find ways to adapt to this, otherwise the problem will be just bigger and bigger.
