Very early in my internet marketing career, I’ve learned how important is to have a recurring income stream (automated monthly payments) and create plus maintain and develop valuable membership sites. To be honest, I didn’t really get it for so many years after that moment. Until … at a certain moment, everything clicked, so I was able to do it professionally.

The thing is that I was able to create them but was not able to sell the memberships. At the end of the day, this model is interesting because you are doing the sale once, and the income comes for months and even years. This is how telecom companies are doing their hundreds of millions of dollars. The truth is that it is not easy to sell memberships online. Of course, you may get some users, but if you want to grow into hundreds, and thousands to pay you o a monthly basis you need to develop a strategy which is usually a combination between scarcity and framing.

Russell Brunson, one of the marketers I am learning from recommends to lead in with a hook of discovery. Something like: “Hey, guys! You’ll never believe it. I just learned this cool new thing and I want to show you. I’m going to walk through it live and take you behind the scenes.”

People love behind the scene stuff, and its associated secrets. This needs to be an invitation to an online event. You can do it recorded but I highly recommend to do it live in a form of a live, 100% free webinar. To have more people registered to the event you must build curiosity & buzz to get people registered to attend.

You can promote it via ads, emails to your list, and social media post to your audience. When you send emails or post on social media I highly recommend not doing it just once, but to create a sequence over 3 to 5 days, at least one message a day.

The webinar has to be 30 to 45 minutes in length, where you show them the WHAT of your discovery 75% of it real good content, 25% product pitch.

Use positioning for yourself, and also storytelling to keep the audience engaged. You don’t need to tell them HOW to do it step-by-step, you can do this in the paid training they can purchase right at the end of…
