How to focus much, much better starting today …
I am a pure Gemini, so we get bored by doing just one thing, so I like to work on few projects at once. You will say that in our culture multitasking is a skill to have. But, I would say that if you don’t have a real system of work so you will be able to work on one thing at a time, you will fail like crazy.
The stats say that more than 90% of entrepreneurs have more than one business. You would say, the more, the better, because it is very cool to be a serial entrepreneur. In most cases, it is a very bad idea to proceed this way.
Why?
When you focus on just one project for a longer period of time, everything has the chance to has a compound effect, so the growth it can encounter becoming a geometric one. Compounding is a principle used in the money world where the accumulation of interest leads to explosive growth after a certain period.
Basically, by focusing on just one business, all the marketing, online traffic, content that is published, the funnels are focused on one thing, which also magnifies the attention from your clients into just one thing.
Splitting your time, and focus in theory is a good idea, but in practice, very few people are successfully doing this. It can happen usually after one business takes off, and it goes by itself.
